Director of Public Works Northlake Woodlands East Phase VI I am in receipt of my copy of the letter you submitted Mr. Steve Parsons regarding the filing of a Homeowners Agreement, which was a stipulation by the City Council for final approval. In speaking with Mr. Frank Trando, Interim City Manager, regarding this matter, we discussed the relevancy of filing a Homeowners Agreement for this particular plat. The streetscape ordinance does call for a Homeowners Agreement. In reviewing this ordinance it was felt that the Homeowners Agreement was primarily for the purpose of ensuring that the use and management of the common areas would be properly addressed and the maintenance obligations performed. The Northlake Woodlands East Phase VI plat does not appear to have common areas. Therefore, if the Homeowners Agreement is solely for the above purpose, Mr. Trando and I feel that an Agreement would not be necessary. Should you have any questions or if you are aware of anything that I may not know of regarding this subject, please advise. SGG/sm cc: Frank Trando, Interim City Manager
