RE: Driveway Easement
Dear Gary:
Please be advised that I have reviewed the Driveway Basement by and between Jason
Walker and Tamra Walker and thc Old Coppcll Estates, Inc. Homeowners' Association
involving the driveway at Lot l, Block l, Old Coppell F.~tates as recorded in Volume 96020,
Page 2043, of the Map Records of Dallas County. After reviewing this, the Basement Agreement
meets thc legal requirements to provide the homeowner Jason Walker and his wife thc ability to
build over the common area for their driveway as depicted in the matters referred to thc City for
approval.
While Mr. Hoyl appears to be the.Secretary of the Homeowners' Association, it would
appear to us that we need some representation from the Homeowners' Association that this
matter was ~operly adopted according to the Homeowners' Association bylaws and regulations.
Upon receipt of that information, a building permit could be granted and the driveway
constructed. It is somcwha~ odd for thc Secretary of thc Association to execute such an
Agreement, but we assume that this matter was properly brought before the homeowners and the
item passed and authorized for Mr. Hoyl to execute this document, which we need verification
of. Once verification is received, the homeowner may proceed accordingly.
