You received this notice because you are a property owner within 200 feet of the subject
tract of land as shown by the most recent City-approved tax rolls. If you can not or do not
wish to attend the hearing, the attached form is provided for your convenience.
If owners of more than 20% of the property within 200 feet of the subject tract object to the
case, a 314 vote of the City Council is required to approve the request. To be considered a
part of the area property owners that object, the attached form, or a written response must
be returned to the Department of Development Services no later that 5:00 p.m. on the day
preceding the public hearing.
You may appear in person during the public hearing to state your opinion concerning the
request in lieu of a written response however, your in-person protest of the referenced case
will not be considered when calculating the percentage of property necessary to require a
3/4 vote of the City Council.
Purpose of Request:
The public headng is to consider an application submitted by The Jackson Shaw Company for
property located at the southeast corner of the intersection of State Highway 121 and Northpoint
Ddve. The applicant is requesting to rezone 7.045 acres from "PID" Planned Industrial
Development District to "BP" Business Park Distdct for the development of an office building. The
property is owned by Greenway-Grapevine/Coppell Partners, L.P.

On Hatch 15, 2001, the Coppell Planning & Zoning Commission reviewed and
recommended approval of the proposed Northpoint Addition Prel~m~uary Plat and
Site Plan subject to conditions. Attached you will find the Coppell staff
report on the subject case, including all noted conditions. The item will
be heard by the Coppell City Council on April 10, 2001 for final determination.
