Dear Sir:
Univest Development Company, Wiseco Land Development Company and the custom
home builders of the Park Meadow addition are planning a grand opening
event for Park Meadow on'the weekend of May 4, 1986. We would request a
variance from the City of Coppell Sign Ordinance Section 10-5-5 which
prohibits the use of temporary portable off-site signs for the purpose of
advertising and marketing home sales. We feel it is essential that during
a grand opening for which concentrated media coverage has been made, that
some form of directional signage be situated at critical intersections to
guide prospective buyers to the site. We would propose to locate four (4)
such portable signs: one at Denton Tap and Parkway Blvd., one at Sandy Lake
and Moore Rd., one at Moore Rd. and Parkway Blvd. and one at Park View Lane
and Parkway Blvd. These signs would be in place for only the three-day
Grand Opening period.
We would request your approval of this request for temporary use of porta-
ble signs.
