I do not believe that the City should enter into such an agreement
particularly if the storm sewer line would be beneficial to their
subdivision. Giving a credit to them for road assessment does not appear
to be in the best interests of the City.

Dear Taryon:
In order to provide a more attractive edge along Thweat Road adjacent to the above referenced
development, our client, Centex Real Estate Corporation, has instructed us to design a storm sewer line
to be built along the entire length of the Thweat Road right-of-way.
Please accept this letter as a formal request for Centex to be given a credit against their paving
assessment equal to the cost of these improvements. The cost would be determined from the contract
amount once the drainage contract has been awarded.
