Parkwood P1/FP-CS 830512May 12, 1983 Dorothy Timmons, City Secretary City of Coppell P.O. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Dear Dorothy: Enclosed please find our cheek in the amount of $14,384.75 for park fees on our Parkwood and Sherwood Park subdivisions. This is one-half of the total fee, due at the time of final plat approval as provided by Ordinance. We understand that under the Contraet of Sale for the 165 aere park land by Parks of Coppell, park fees shall not exceed $500.00 per acre. We have therefore computed the park fee for Parkwood as follows: 33.539 acres ~ $500/acre = $16,769.50 total fee One-half (½) paid at time of final plat = $8,384.75 We also understand that the park fee for Townhouse-zoned land is $75/unit. We have therefore computed the park fee for Sherwood Park as follows: 160 units 4~ $75/unit = $12,000.00 total fee One-half (3) paid at time of final plat = $6,000.00 If you have any questions regarding these park fees, please call me. We look forward to being a part of the community of Coppell. Sincerely,, Samuel L. These fees should not have been collected because they were paid for by the developer. We therefore are going to credit General Homes in the amount of $3600.00 for Sherwood Park and $1950.00 for Parkwood. We will deduct the building permit fee from this amount. We will forward a tally sheet to you as this credit is depleted. cc: Jim Stiggleman Dale Jackson File
