Temporary Permit for Pump House at Golf Course
I have received a request from Mr. Ken James of American Golf Corporation.
Mr. James has requested that he be allowed to construct a pump house at the
Riverchase Golf Course prior to platting the property.
After meeting with Taryon Bowman, I informed Mr. James that the entire golf
course would no be required to be platted; however, building sites would be required
to be platted prior to the start of construction or the issuance of a building permit.
Mr. James is requesting that he be given a temporary permit, for the construction
of the pump house, because of the need to protect the irrigation equipment from
the weather as soon as possible.
It is the opinion of the staff that the construction of the building, prior to the
plat approval, would not adversely affect the development of the site.
