ParkW CC-16/Re-CS001211Landscape Management, Inc. December 11, 2000 City of Coppell Gary Seib Director of Planning 255 Parkway Blvd Coppell, Tx 75019 Dear Mr. Seib, Precision Landscape Management is installing the landscaping for Parkwest Commerce Center on Wrangler Dr., west of Enterprise. One of the plants to be used is Dwarf Southern Waxmyrtle. This plant is desirable due to its drought tolerance, size, density, ability to screen, and evergreen nature. We understand that it is not on the City's list of approved plants. We have spoken with Brad Reid, Park Planning and Landscape Manager, who will be requesting that the City Council consider adding this plant to the approved list in February. However, the project will begin in December. Our proposal, for which we respectfully ask your approval, is that we be allowed to install the Dwarf Southern Waxmyrtles with the understanding that if the Council does not approve them we will replace them with Dwarf Burford Holly. Thank you for your consideration of this matter. Sincerely, Bruce Birdsong President Cc: Brad Reid (Land/parkwestcommerceIIl) 13337 Bee Street · Farmers Branch, TX 75234 · (972) 241-3789 · Fax (972) 241-6616
