RE: G&K Service, Co. Laundry Plant and Office Facility
Dear Isabelle:
Per your request, we are writing this letter to confirm that both G&K Services and Halff
Associates understand the conditions under which the Coppell City Council approved the Minor
Plat and Site plan on Tuesday, May 12, 1998. All of the chain link fencing shown in the
approved site plan will have a dark green vinyl coating as stipulated by the City Council. In
addition, we understand that a Certificate of occupancy will not be issued until G&K Services
has obtained approval of the water discharge from the Trinity River Authority.
An application was submitted to the Trinity River Authority on May 26, 1998, and we are
awaiting their approval. According to Mr. Derek Fraiser at the TRA (phone # 972-263-225), the
G&K application is being held until the building is ready for their inspection. As stated at the
City Council Meeting, G&K has been in contact with the TRA regarding TRA's discharge
requirements. G&K is certain that they will meet these discharge requirements, and as such
they do not expect any problems in obtaining TRA approval once the building is constructed.
At this time, we would appreciate it if you could begin obtaining the signatures of the City of
Coppell personnel that are required for approval of the Final Plat. If you have any questions or
require any additional information, please do not hesitate to call.
