Gentlemen-
On April 1, 1989 the St. Ann's Catholic Church Men's Club will
have its annual garage sale. Presently the garage sale is
scheduled to be either at the Georgetown Shopping Center on Sandy
Lake Road or St. Ann's Church. We would like to request
permission to put up approximately 40-45 temporary signs
directing customers to our location. The signs will be not
larger than the 6 square feet currently allowed by real estate
agents and builders. Th,i? signs wilt be located at major
intersections at the required distances from the actual
intersection.
It is our intent to put the signs up on Friday, March 31st, and
take the signs down on either Saturday evening, April 1st, or
Sunday, April 2nd. We would also like to request approval to put
up a banner on or near the building itself to identify the garage
sale. This banner would not exceed 30 square feet.
Please review this request and advise whether or not you endorse
it. Zf you do endorse this request, please advise the date that
it will be put on the City Council's agenda.
