Engineering Comments for DRC 5/27/93
June 2, 1993 "
St. Ann's Catholic Church replat - located at the northeast corner of Sandy Lake Road
and Samuel Blvd.
1. The usage on the south side and on the west side of the proposed replat should be
provided.
2. The existing right-of-way for Sandy Lake Road, both entire right-of-way and right-of-
way from center line, should be shown.
There was also a comment about the Allways Program being implemented through
the ISTEA funds. There was discussion about the fact that additional
right-of-way may be required if Council buys into the Allways Program. The
Engineering Department made a comment that an additional 5 feet of right-of-way
should be provided on this replat, in the event that the Allways Program is
implemented along Sandy Lake Road.
4. There was a comment concerning the leaving out of concrete on the north side at the
existing building on Lot 2, in the fire lane.
Fountain Park Addition f'mai plat - located along the north side of Sandy Lake
Road between MacArthur Blvd. and Meadow Glenn Circle
1. Escrow should be provided for Sandy Lake Road.
2. Minimum finish floors should be provided for Lots 2-7, Block C.
3. A drainage easement should be provided through the common area shown as Lot 13
of Block C.
4. Information on the existing 15' utility and landscape easement should be provided.
Again, there was a comment concerning the Allways Program being implemented by
ISTEA funding. If the existing 15' utility and landscape easement cannot be utilized
for sidewalks, then there may be a need for an additional five foot fight-of-way to be
dedicated along Sandy Lake Road.
