I referred your telephone message to Greg Jones in Building Inspections. I had faxed him a note
shortly before Christmas to the effect that, if an easement encompassing the private property upon
which the entry feature is located were granted in favor of the HOA and recorded, the Planning
Department would have no objection to the issuance of a building permit for the wall. Also, I
noted that the property description which Tommy Cansler had faxed to me appeared to
encompass the area occupied by the entry feature, although a portion of the planter extended into
the street right-of-way.
Beyond this, I am not sure what more assistance the Planning Department can offer you. If you
have not heard from Greg, I suggest that you contact him to see what is holding up the permit.
