Preliminary Report
Geotechnical Investigation
Sandy Lake At Riverchase
Coppell, Texas
Maxim Report No. 0902604637
Gentlemen:
Transmitted herewith is our preliminary report for the project referenced above. A total of 18
borings were drilled at the locations shown on Figure 1. Clay and sandy clay fill soils were
encountered to the depths indicated on Figure 2. Penetrometer compressive strength
determinations along with moisture content and density tests were performed on each soil sample
during examination and classification. Based on these results, the fill soils are stiff to hard and
appear to be compact. Average compaction levels are estimated to be in excess of 92% Standard
Proctor density. Laboratory compaction tests are in progress. Actual compaction levels will
be determined and reported in the final geotechnical report along with recommendations for the
design of post-tensioned foundations.
Sincerely,
MAXIM TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
