Re: Proposed Replat of/29 Shadydale Lane
The purpose of this letter is to voice our opposition to the proposed replat of/29 Shady-
dale Lane. Our home faces this property so we are directly affected.
Shadydale Acres is one of the few subdivisions in Coppell with a few large lots left and
beautiful old trees dating back a century. This is not just a wooded lot, it is one with
trees of historical significance. Dividing this lot in half would inevitably lead to the re-
moval of some of these trees and directly affect our property. Building one house on the
existing plat would be more suitable. We would like to see the lot left as is, and see the
city's tree ordinance followed as closely as possible.
We have spoken with a majority of the homeowners in our area and not one we spoke
with was in favor of the replat. Please listen to the citizen's of Shadydale Acres and vote
against this proposal. We hope to maintain the consistency of our redeveloping neighbor-
hood. Thank you for taking into consideration the opinions of the citizens of Coppell.
