The City of Coppell Board of Adjustment met on Thursday, September 2, 1999, and heard
your request for a variance fi.om Sections 34-1-8(C) and 34-1-9 of the City's Zoning
Ordinance, concerning a reduction in the required landscaping for the proposed new
menu-board parking area, for the Sonic drive-in located at 201 N. Denton Tap Road.
The Board voted to grant your request to reduce the perimeter landscape area fi.om the
required 6,932 sq. fL to 4,902 sq. t~. and to reduce the non-vehicular landscape area fi.om
4,340 sq. ~. to 1,819 sq. i~.
You withdrew your request for a variance to reduce the tree planting requirement fi.om 23
trees to 21 trees.
