DISCUSSION:
On April 20, 1995, the Planning and Zoning Commission
recommended approval of a Special Use Permit for a restaurant on
this property. That recommendation did not include approval of
a monument sign on the property, because the site is not
sufficiently wide to accommodate a monument meeting the
requirements of the sign ordinance. The applicant therefore
requested and received a variance of the sign ordinance
requirements from City Council. In recommending approval of
the preliminary plat last month, the Commission included a
recommendation that the height of the monument sign be reduced.
City Council will act on that recommendation November 14.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the Final Plat subject to any
conditions imposed by City Council on November 14.

1) Recommend approval of the final plat
2) Recommend disapproval of the final plat
