Stuart O'Neal/SP-CS000403From: To; Date: Subject: Brad Reid Mamie Diamond Mon, Apr 3, 2000 2:35 PM O'Neal Office Bldg. Tree Retribution Marcie, RE: Stuart O'Neal Office Building, Revised Plans The tree retribution has not been figured correctly on this proposed development. The preservation credits have been figured on a percentage of the total trees removed instead on the total trees on the site, as should be the case. The total trees on the site am 604 inches of which 303" will be removed, with 274 inches preserved. The preservation credit, therefore, should be 45% (274/604). This will give a preservation credit of 149". Additionally, 51" of trees are proposed to be planted, creating 51" of landscaping credit, bringing the total credits to 200". Therefore, 103" of removed trees remain to be accounted for. Note number 3 on the Tree Retribution sheet of the drawings states that I have indicated a specific tree is not capable of surviving due to the extent of paving around the mot zone. I have not indicated this but have determined that this tree will not be allowed to be counted as a preserved tree in the calculations for preservation credits. Thank You, Brad
