RE: Proposed shopping center, Village al Town Center, Denton Tap Road
Dear Ms. D(amond:
I met this morning with Glen Hinckley regarding his plans to build a small shopping center
adjacent to mine.
After a lengthy discussion about a number o1' issues and considerations, I am withdrawing my
objection to allowing Mr. Hinckley to build ncxt to the property line.
[ have not change my belief that ('?om an aesthetic and architectural standpoint it is not in thc best
interest of Eleanor's Square to have the buildings attached. In the balance, however, ofour other
discussions, I feel the right thing to do is to send this withdrawal letter.
Since my earlier letter was circulated among the committee, in fairness to Mr. I linckley I should
also state that he has denied any effort to copy the design of Eleanor's Square. I take him at his
word and believe his designs are a combination of other projects he has developed.
