re: Valley Ranch Self Storage, F'mal Plat
In response to your telephone call, I reviewed both my letter of October 20, 1995, and Gary
Sieb's letter of November 15. Both contain a sentence which reads: *Please note that Impact
fees will be required for this development.* The purpose of including the sentence was to alert
you to the Engineering Department's comments from the Development Review Committee
meeting.
Since the Engineering Department administers the roadway and utility impact fees, as soon as
we finished our telephone conversation I went over to Engineering and asked Ken Griffin what
fees were involved. He said that he had spent about twenty minutes with Brockette, Davis and
Drake earlier this morning explaining the requirements.
Apparently the required impact fees are for roadways. Your consulting engineer has complete
information regarding that. The letters Gary and I sent you accurately reported the requirement,
consequently there is nothing to retract. If after you have talked with your consulting engineers
you have any further questions, I think they best can be answered by the Engineering
Department.
