Your plat was not submitted in time enough to file application for a replat. State law requires that all property owners within a subdivision to be replatted; must be notified, and a legal advertisement must be placed in the newspaper. Since staff had placed your item on the Planning and Zoning Commission agenda, in my absence, for November 19, 1987, I consulted the City Attorney and he advised me to request that you make an application to vacate the original plat, and then seek approval of a preliminary plat. I have placed the consideration of approval of the plat, as a two-part consideration, so that you do not loose the full rights and privileges of the original plat that is filed with the County Records office.
