Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Attention: TaryonBowm~n Re: Request for Abandonment of ~ Common Access Easement Dear Ms. Bowman: The purpose of this letter is to formally request abandonment of the common access easement that crosses our land. The area in question is inaccessible (see highlighted enclosure) and creates a hazard when fenced out in accordance with the existing easement. This common access easement does not serve a legit, imate purpose as it does not allow for common access (refer tonighlighted enclosure) and creates a hazard due to inaccessibility for the purpose of proper maintenance. This reques! relates solely to the abandonment of the common access easement, The existing utility easements would remain in full force and effect, Kevin Crull 843 Chalfont Place Coppell, Texas 75019 Debbte Crull Daniel Hybel 839 Chalfont Place Coppell, Texas 75019 Jo Ann Hybel Louie Parnell 835 Chalfont Place Coppell, Texas 75019 Becky Parnell Enclosure: Survey Plat :Y EASEMENT DETAIL I0' DRNG A3GESS UTILITY ESMY B t - 26- 49 29 28 26 27 25 ,3.3 34- 36 35 `32 .31 42 11 43 -'D' ESMT. ~ 5'AC¢ cn ~ SDWK. `37 ~O'T.P, % % ,:39 40 41 S 89-38-25 E ~,.. 450.00 , BLK. OF COPPELL OF¸ 3 MEMORANDUM February 15, 1991 TO: FROM: SUBJECT: Taryon Bowman, Planning and Zoning Coordinator Travis Crump, Commercial Building Inspector ~ Access Easement, Lakes of Coppell, Phase-II Several weeks ago, Mr. Barry Buford of Westchester Homes, asked about fences being placed in access easements. I advised him that no barriers can be placed in access easements since that would defeat the purpose of the easement. At that time Mr. Buford told me about three fences that had been placed in the easement. He requested the City contact the owners about the violation. Mr. Buford stated it was the desire of the property owners to have the access easement abandoned and he thought having a notice of violation sent would be the best way of initiating the process. If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. TG:pc
