re: Village at Cottonwood Creek V
In reviewing the history of the original Preliminary Plat, now expired, I realized that City
Council had approved it with the condition that the setbacks on Lots 16 and 26, Block A, be
increased. I assume this to mean increasing the 15' sidestreet building line to 25'. Would you
please make this change on the drawings you submit on Tuesday? If so, I will be able to put
in the staff report that the plat conforms with the previously approved drawings.
Incidentally, the previously approved drawings did not include a 15'-wide landscape setback
along Sandy Lake Road, as required by the Subdivision Ordinance. Our report will recommend
approval of this, because that is the way it was approved previously, but at some point we will
need to make note that City Council is granting a variance to the requirement.
Also, believe it or not, some changes have occurred since October of 1994 that are favorable
to you, if you want to take advantage of them. Give me a call, and I will explain.
