Westfork Add/PP-CS 870629June 29, 1987 Planning & Zoning Commission Coppell, Texas % Mrs. Taryon Bowman, Planning & Zoning Coordinator City of Coppell Dear Members: In conjunction with our proposed 6 lot subdivision on Bethel School Road west of Moore Road, commonly referred to as the "Monk property", we would like to request the following variances: 1. Waiver of alley requirements. 2. 90' lot depth for lots 2 & 5, instead of 110', due to part of the lots being 116' depth, and maximum width in excess of 150'. 3. Doggett Cove 110' from Glencrest Circle, instead of 125', due to the natural layout of the streets in adjacent subdivisions. In requesting the alley waiver, we would like to point out that the site is bordered by single family homes in Carter Addition on the south, west and east which do not have alleys and Northlake Woodlands No. 7 on the north side of Bethel School Road which was not required to provide alleys. Our proposed lots can have adequate garbage service from the street as the other homes in the area now have, including the house which exists on the property. We feel that providing an alley would not only be unnecessary, but undesirable for the adjacent homeowners who would suddenly find their privacy invaded.
