Re: Subdivision Review Woodridge Section Four
Coppell, Texas
Dear Mr. Masters:
At the request of Mr. Scott Barnett and following your review comments
of May 4, 1983, all revisions have been made pursuant to those comments
with the following exceptions.
Item 2 - These quantities are correct. As per the Coppell M.U.D.'s
engineer, these values represent a 100 year design.
Item 7 - With 2.05% grade and corresponding gutter capacity 1 cfs
will spill over to the low side of the street and into the
5 foot inlet. Considering the 7.82% grade and gutter velo-
city and the fact that this inlet is a sag inlet and is down-
stream of other sag inlets and should accommodate 100 year
flow from upstream inlets, recommend leaving the 14 foot in-
let on the right side.
Item 8 - Using a residential street design speed of 30 mph, a 50 foot
vertical curve is sufficient.
Item 9 - Using an alley design speed of 10 mph, a 50 foot vertical
curve is sufficient.
Item 10- The preliminary plat was approved by Planning Commission and
City Council with the existing alignment and without an off-
site corner clip on adjacent property. This 3-waY intersection
allows for safe vehicular traffic. Trash trucks or other ve-
hicles with large turning radii have safe access out of this
intersection through Alley J-J.
Item 13- This section is not for paving information, but for R.O.W.
cross-slope information only. Paving section is shown on page
28 of 30.
