Dear Gary:
This letter is to verify our phone conversation on Friday, September 1, 1995. As we discussed,
Ken Griffin, the city Engineer, has prepared an ordinance for consideration by the City of
Coppell City Council on Sept. 12, 1995. The ordinance would amend the city's Thoroughfare
Plan to change the classification of Coppell Road, resulting in the need for less right of way
dedication from The Woodlands of Coppell.
Assuming the Thoroughfare Plan amendment is approved, it is my understanding that the right of
way on the above referenced plat can be adjusted prior to filing without the need for any public
hearing. This final plat was approved on May 18, 1995, and expires after six months. This
allows time to amend and file the plat prior to its expiration, if it should become necessary.
