RE: Case No. S-1084R, Kwik Kar
Dear Madam/Sir:
At its meeting last evening, the Coppell Planning and Zoning Commission continued the Public
Hearing on Case No. S-1084R, Kwik Kar, zoning change for property zoned C-S.U.P.
(Commercial, Special Use Permit), by amending the Site Plan of the automotive service center
to permit a 900 square foot building expansion for two additional service bays on property
located approximately 300 feet south of Bethel School Road, along the west side of Denton Tap
Road to its meeting of August 21, 1997.
Staff will need 17 copies of your revised proposal by Tuesday, August 5th. Some of the
concerns expressed by the Commission were the need for more definition relative to the trees
(which trees will be removed and how the remaining trees will be preserved); possible
elimination of the Pennzoil signage. Staff will verify with Mr. Jeff Key of T.U. Electric, the
feasibility of the underground utility issue.
