1. Combine the two requests onto one, 24 x 36 site plan sheet (without landscaping) and if
possible, combine elevations of covered parking and details of parking lot same sheet.
2. Correct the location map, this property does not extend to Wrangler Drive or the southern
portion of Lakeside Drive.
3. Carports:
· Will the carports impact the existing trees in the landscape islands?
· Specify color and material planned for the roof of the carport structure
4. New Parking Lot
· Add typical dimensions to parking stalls
· Add dimension to the perimeter of the lot.
· Add dimensions to perimeter landscape area, it appears to scale 10 feet, however it needs
to be verified.
· Correct the plant list to reflect the correct number of trees as indicated on the landscape
plan (3 instead of 2 cedar elms)
One, three inch caliper tree, per 50 linear feet, is required in the landscape buffer area
along the southern and eastern perimeter of the parking lot.
· Separate the calculations for the perimeter and interior landscape area in the landscape
summary.
· It appears that several of the trees along Lakeshore Drive that are noted as "existing" are
not existing.
Please revise plats, site plans, landscape plans, and building elevations based on staff
recommendations. Should applicant disagree with staff comments please provide
reasons why staff recommendations should not be followed when you attend the June
6th Development Review Committee (DRC) meeting.
Each applicant will bring two new sets of revised plats and plans to the June 6th DRC
meeting. Applicants will be asked to show, explain and defend any revision. An
Engineer for the project or other representative is urged to attend the meeting.
Applicant will have till noon Tuesday, June 11tn to resubmit fourteen (14) folded
copies of revised plans, three (3) reduced paper copies (8 1/2 X 11) and one JPEG,
TIF or BMP of each exhibit to the Planning Department.
