Mr. Rick Novak
158 E. Bethel Road
Coppell, TX 75019
Dear Rick,
Thank you for your September 30, 2000 response to our letter dated August 28, 2000. As President of our
Board, I know you understand that Creekview homeowners take pride in their homes and in their
neighborhood.
If a homeowner within Creekview raises a concern to a Board member as it relates to Creekview's deed
restrictions or a possible violation of any city ordinance, the Board is entrusted to review the concern.
That is what was done in your case. The Board reviewed our deed restrictions and city ordinances to
determine if your vehicles were in compliance. The Board determined that they were not, thus our letter to
you on August 28, 2000.
The Board was not aware that the City of Coppell had determined that the size of your vehicles and the
daily loading/unloading of your vending stock from said vehicles at 158 E. Bethel Road were in
compliance with all city codes and ordinances as you mentioned in your letter to the Board. The Board
asks that you furnish it with copies of the city's approvals and/or permits. This will furnish the Board with
the documentation it needs when a resident raises a concern of you running your vending business at your
home, thereby allowing the Board to defend your right to do so.
I know you realize that the Board is not at liberty to furnish you a list of resident's names that had raised a
concern about this issue. In response to your name and address being printed in Creekview's newsletter,
this was done in the minutes of the Annual Homeowners meeting where this issue was raised and
discussed by Creekview members and only your address was written. Also, in response to your request to
be furnished with any letters where the Board has taken similar action, we did so in June of last year to the
homeowners of 245 Penuel Drive requesting immediate attention to a violation of Coppell City Ordinance
94655 - Article 15-11 Neighborhood Integrity Code.
The Board thanks you for your responsiveness and attention to this matter and ask for your response
within fourteen days of receipt.
Sincerely,
Randy Share, President
Creekview Homeowners Association Board
