Dear Mr. Briscoe:
This letter is to inform you that your request to approve ZC-568, Riverbend Estates, to allow
a zoning change from R (Retail) to SF-9 (Single Family-9), located at the north side of Bethel
Road, west of Denton Tap Road, between the abandoned Bethel School Road and Coppell Road,
was recommended for approval by the Coppell Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday,
September 16, 1994.
The date scheduled for consideration by the Coppell City Council is Tuesday, October 11, 1994,
at 7:30 p.m. A representative for this case should be present at this meeting. Failure to
represent this item may result in the denial of this application.
We would also remind you that a subdivision plat name more in keeping with this area of
Coppell is in order. Riverbend suggests our existing Riverview, River Ridge, Riverchase
subdivisions on the east side of town. We would also point out that the drainage area north of
your property is not a river; in fact, the majority of the time it does not have flowing water in
it. Please reconsider your plat name.
