Re: D~x~s Tree Removal Permit
Dear John:
Per your conversations with Andrea Roy, I wanted to formally outline the manner in which the
City will process Dexas International's Tree Removal Permit.
As required by the Coppoll Ordinance, tree re~ is due at the time of issuance of a tree
removal permit. However, due to the level of reparation owed ($95,200), and the fact that City
Staff is currently exploring possible modifications to its policies on tree mitigation, the City will
delay collection of the fees umil such time that Dexas requests a Certificate of O~cupancy.
Please note that if the City Council determines no changes should be made to the existing tree
mitigation policies, the full amount of reparation will be due in conjunction with the Certificate
of Occupancy.
If you have any questions, you nmy contact Andrea Roy at 972-304-3677. Ms. Roy will
continue to keep you apprised of any changes that may affect Dexas International's development
plans.
