Dear Mr. Jerrell:
This letter is to inform you that on October 16, 2003, the Coppell Planing and Zoning Commission voted to
hold open and continue the Public Hearing for Case No. PD-185R-LL Coppell Industrial Addition
(Tradepoint), zoning change request on 98.84 acres of property, from PD-185-LI (Planned Development-
185, Light Industrial) to PD-185R-LI (Planned Development-185 Revised, Light Industrial) to aUach a
Detail Site Plan to allow for an approximate 350,183 square-foot expansion to the existing 600,000 square-
foot building on Lot 1R and the development of an approximate 952,094 square-foot office/warehouse
building on Lot 2 located 50' east of Royal Lane; north of Bethel Road, to its November 20th meeting
The Commission's main concern was the lack of architectural features (i.e., glass, canopies, articulation),
especially at the entry points visible from Bethel Road and Creekview Drive. The Commission also
requested additional information concerning the "middle-entry feature", including details, potential spacing
and number, etc. It is also suggested that, if desired, additional information be provided on the guardhouse.
Staff will be available to meet with you to discuss these items in detail.
Two sets of re'/ised elevations need to be submitted to the Planning Department on/or before 12 noon,
Wednesday, October 29th, for review.
