Box 478 Coppell, TX 75019 Re: Case No.: ZC-615(CH) Dear Marcie: I am writing to address the above-mentioned zoning case which is going the City of Coppell City Council for a vote this cvening. As I have discussed with you and the adjacent homeowners in the Perdnsula's of Coppell, Centex Development Company is opposed to re-zoning our property of approximately 22 acres to Highway Commercial because we anticipate bringing a request to re-zone the prOpm'ty for townhome use in the near futare. We fully expect to have our negotiations with a builder finalized within several weeks al'id would like the time to meet with the adjacent homeowners and plan a development that the community would support. This ~'act of land is more suited for residential than commercial because it lacks frontage on a major thoroughfare and backs up to Denton Creek and a levee.
