Approximately 32 acres Dear Mareie: Thank you for recently visiting with us to review the City's proposed rezoning of the Emerson partners tract at the southeast comer of SH 121 and Sandy Lake Road. This letter is being forwarded to you to confirm Emerson Partner's consent to rezoning a portion of the property from "LI" to "HC". Emerson Partners acquired thc Freeport North property for the sole purpose of developing industrial uses which were permitted under the zoning classification when Emerson Partners acquired the property. Over the years, Freeport North has become an important industrial development for the region and the City. The undeveloped portion of Freeport North is intended to be an extension of this significant industrial devalopment. Rezoning all of the remaining undeveloped property to "HC" would inhibit the logical growth pattern for Freeport North. However, in an effort to continue to work with the City on land use matters, Emerson Partners is agreeable to allow the City to rezone the northernmost 11.5 acres of undeveloped property, which is bounded by Sandy Lake Road to the north, Royal Lane to the east and SH 121 to the west, and as depicted on the enclosed map, from "LF' to "I-IC". The remaining property should remain "LI" to allow the further developm~t of Freeport North Industrial Park.
