Dear Ms. Slaughter:
This letter is to inform you that Case No. PD-145R3. Woodridge. Section 5, Lot 58, Block
A, zoning change request from PD-145R (Planned Development-145 Revised) to PD-
145R3 (Planned Development-145 Revision-3), to allow the construction of a carport to
extend to the rear property line (a variance of 3 feet) located at 1040 Mapleleaf Lane, was
recommended for approval by the Coppell Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday,
May 20, 2004, subject to the following conditions:
1)
Increase the brick height of each column to its full height. The width of
each column shall be no less than 7 inches.
2)
Closely match the brick used for the columns with the material on the
home.
3)
Engineered foundation plans will be required as part of the building
permit submittal.
The date scheduled for consideration by the Coppell City Council is Tuesday, June 8, 2004,
at 7 p.m. A representative for this case must be present at this meeting, which will be held
in Council Chambers at City Hall. Failure to represent this item may result in the denial of
this application. City Council has instructed staff to include in its agenda packets only those
items that accurately reflect conditions as recommended by the Planning and Zoning
Commission. Therefore, please submit to the Phuming Department three (3) folded copies
of the revised Carport Plan on or before 12 noon~ Wednesday~ May 26th. Also, please
submit one (1) 8 ½ x 11 paper reduction, along with one jpg, tiff, pdf or similar electronic
file.
