P&Z 8/19/04 apprv'l letterCOPPELL August 20, 2004 Mr. Ryan Ivey Sprint Spectrum, L.P. 701 Presidential Drive Richardson, TX 75081 RE: Case No. S-1108R2-A~ Sprint Spectrum Communication Dear Ryan: This letter is to inform you that Case No. S-1108R2-A, Sprint Spectrum Communication, zoning change request from S-1108R-A (Special Use Permit-Il08 Revised-Agriculture) to S-1108R2-A (Special Use Permit-Il08 Revision 2-Agriculture), to allow for a wireless communication antenna to be mounted to an existing electric transmission tower, with an accessory cabinet at the base of the tower, located approximately 1,000-feet southxvest of the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and the transmission line easement; north of Belt Line Road, was recommended for approval by the Coppell Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, August 19, 2004, subject to the following conditions: 1 ) Access drive shall be constructed of material capable of supporting 40,000 pounds. 2l If access or improvements are within the Riverchase HOA, permission must be granted by the HOA prior to construction. 3) Show masonry wall and gate specifications (i.e., material, color and type). The brick color shall match the Coppell Crossing retail center (not painted). The date scheduled for consideration by the Coppell City Council is Tuesday, September 14, 2004, at 7 p.m. A representative for this case must be present at this meeting, which will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall. Failure to represent this item may result in the denial of this application. City Council has instructed staff to include in its agenda packets only those items that accurately reflect conditions as reconm~ended by the Planning and Zoning Commission. Therefore, please submit to the Planning Department three (3) folded copies of revised plans, which reflect Condition #3, on or before 12 noon~ Tuesday~ August 31st. Also, please submit one (1) 8 V2 x 11 paper reduction of the revision, along with one jpg, tiff, pdfor similar electronic file.
