Akard Street, Suite 4000 Dallas, TX 75201 RE: Case No. S-1220-TC~ Verizon Wireless Dear Mr. Griffin: This letter is to inform you that Case No. S-1220-TC, Verizon Wireless, zoning change request from TC (Tow2 Center) to S-1220-TC (Special Use Permit-1220-Town Center) to allow for the replacement of a 70-foot light standard with an 80-foot light standard to permit a wireless communication antenna, with ground-mounted equipment, located at 363 N. Denton Tap Road (Andrew Brown Park West), was recommended for approval by the Coppell Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, August I9, 2004, subject to the following conditions: 1 ) Equipment shelter will match existing brick color and pattern of concession stand, and will not attach to the existing building on the north side. 2) Construction procedures of this application will not interfere with activities scheduled within the park, and procedures and detailed plans will be approved by the Parks Department. 3) No game schedules can be affected by this construction. 4) Removal of existing light standard and installation of new light standard must occur on stone day. 5) Any damage to the Park will be repaired by Verizon; repairs will reqnire approval of the Parks Department. 6) A lease agreement will be approved by City Council. 7) Entrance to the concession building addition will be moved to the south side of the addition. g) Need sealed structural drawings on new base support or engineer's certification of existing base to support new pole. '[he date scheduled for consideration by the Coppell City Council is Tuesday, September 14~ 2004, at 7 p.m. A representative for this case must be present at this meeting, which will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall. Failure to represent this item may result in the denial of this application. City Council has instructed staff to include in its agenda packets only those items that accurately reflect conditions as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission. Therefore, please submit to the Planning Department three (3) 81/2 x I 1 color photo simulation exhibit entitled "New screen wall with outdoor equipment in compound and new light standard", complying with Condition #7, on or before 12 noon~ Tuesday~ August 31st.
