We have received your request to postpone a zoning application and subdivision plat at the southeast corner of
MacArthur Boulevard and Lake Vista Drive scheduled to be heard by the Planning Commission on June 17. We
have postponed you cases and rescheduled them for our July Commission hearing. There will be no additional
application fee.
Please review our staff comments, have your meeting with area homeowners, and be prepared to re-submit
three revised development packages to our offices at noon on Monday, June 14th. Provided the application is
complete, we will accept additional copies on Wednesday, June 16th by noon. We will then schedule you for a
public hearing before the Planning Commission on Thursday, July 15, and assuming all goes well there, on to
City Council Tuesday August 10.

Dear Gary,
Pursuant to your telephone conversation with Mark Wakeland of Waketand
Properties, Centex Development (as owner) and Wakeland Properties (as
developer) are respectfully requesting that the City of Coppell postpone
our application for rezoning and preliminary plat of approximately 22 acres
of land on the southeast corner of Mac_Arthur Boulevard and Lake Vista Drive
from the June 2004 PS~Z agenda to the July 2004 P&2. agenda.
We also understand that there will be no additional application fees or
charges imposed by the City for postponing our case.
Thank you again for your assistance and we look forward to working with the
City to resolve any outstanding issues and are committed to developing a
project that the City will be proud of.
