Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting:
City Council Meeting: Sept. 10, 1996
August 15, 1996
Submit building elevations and specify building materials to be used.
Parking requirements are based on use. Note that the church, place of worship and
amphitheater are based on the ratio 1 parking space for 3 seating spaces. However,
office use calls for 1 parking space for 300 square feet Of gross floor area and classroom
use calls for 1 parking space for each classroom plus 6 spaces.
Planting islands within a single row of parking shall be separated by no more than 15
parking spaces.
Provide landscape area calculations for:
1) Perimeter landscaping area of vehicular use areas
2) Interior of vehicular use areas
3) Non-vehicular open spaces
Provide planting material quantities for Bermuda grass and Asian Jasmine.
Show any proposed signage on site.
A reminder that the applicant will be responsible for oblaining a zoning change request
sign from the Planning Department and placing the sign on the property 10 days prior to
the Planning Commission hearing. There is a $100.00 deposit fee for the sign. (Fill out
attached form and return to the Planning Department no later than Friday, August 2,
1996.)

Please revise plats, landscape plans, and utility plans based olt staff recommendations. Should
applicant disagree with staff comments please provide reasons why staff recommendations should
not be followed when you attend the August 1, 1996 Development Review Committee (DRC)
meeting.
Each applicant will bring one new set of revised plats and plans to the August 1st DRC
meeting. Applicants will be asked to show, explain and defe~d any revision. An Engineer for
the project or other representative is urged to attend the meeting.
Applicant will have till noon Tuesday, August 6th to resubmit twenty-eight (28) folded copies of
revised plans and three (3) reduced paper copies (8 1/2 X 11)of each exhibit to the Planning
Department.
