One of the most important aspects of converting a r~idcntial property to a commercial
use is the adequate provision of parking. Current city slandards for commercial use
require that you provide 4 parking spaces. To avoid constructing additional parking
spaces, you will need to seek a Special Exception from the Board of Adjustment.
To meet the letter of the law, we need a site plan and landscape plan. We realize that
the applicant does not intend to make any changes on the property. Please produce a
drawing showing existing trees, shrubs and any other planting material on the property,
as well as provide a summary table identifying type, quantity and size of the plants.
If you plan to put up a sign, add pavement or modify the outside of the structure we will
need drawings showing exactly what you propose to do.
4. Correct the d'u'ection of the North Arrow on the submitted drawing.
Note:
A reminder that the applicant will be responsible for obtaining a zoning change request
sign from the Planning Department and placing the sign on the property 10 days prior to
the Planning Commission hearing. There is a $100.00 deposit fee for the sign. (Fill out
attached form and return to the Planning Department no later than Friday, March 7,
