On August 10, 2004, Council (6-0) granted the Planning Commission Final Plat approval authority.
On November 18, 2004, the Planning Commission (6-0) approved the Phase 1 Final Plat.
Please see the attached letter from Dowdey, Anderson & Associates, Inc., dated May 5, 2005, requesting a 60-day
extension. The Planning Commission does not have the authority to grant e~ctensions. If Council were to approve
this request, the Phase 1 Final Plat would expire July 18, 2005.
Staff recommends an extension not to exceed 90 days to give ample time fol' construction plans approval by the
Engineering Department, as well as franchise utility easements being finaliZed. This plat would then expire
August 17, 2005.

Dear Mr. Sieb:
On behalf of our client, Wakeland Properties, we respectfully re{luest an additional 60-
day extension of the filing of the Villas at Lake Vista Phase OneIFinal Plat for several
reasons.
We are waiting on approval of the Construction Plans from the (pity Engineer as well
as finalizing the franchise utility easements and preparing the plbt for filing.
The requested 60-day extension would provide us with the necessary time to resolve
the afore-mentioned issues
