On August 10, 2004, Council (6-0) granted the Planning Commission Final [~lat approval authority.
On November 18, 2004, the Planning Commission (6-0) approved the Phas~ ! Final Plat.
On June 14, 2005, Council granted a 60-day extension to July 18, 2005.
Please see the attached letter from Dowdey, Anderson & Associates, Inc., d~ted July 7, 2005, requesting a six-
month extension. The Planning Commission does not have the authority to ~rant extensions. If Council were to
approve this request, the Phase 1 Final Plat would expire November 18, 20~5.

Dear Mr. Sieb:
On behalf of our client, Wakeland Properties, we respectfully rE quest an additional 60-
day extension of the filing of the Villas at Lake Vista Phase One Final Plat for several
reasons.
We are waiting on approval of the Construction Plans from the ~City Engineer as well
as finalizing the franchise utility easements and preparing the I~lat for filing.
The requested 60-day extension would provide us with the necessary time to resolve
the afore-mentioned issues.
