Dear Madam/Gentleman:
This letter is to inform you that the West Sandy Lake Road Ac~dition, Lot 1, Block 1, Site
Plan Amendment, to allow the construction of a combination of decorative metal and
chain link fencing along the northern, eastern and western prqperty lines of 31.4 acres of
land located at 944 W. Sandy Lake Road, was recommended by the Coppell Planning and
Zoning Commission on Thursday, November 17, 2005, as follows:
1 ) DENIAL of the chain-link fence along the west ptropcrty line, and
APPROVAL of a decorative-metal fence.
2) APPROVAL of the black-coated chain-link fence along the east
property line only.
Prior to the erection of any fencing, a revised Landscape Plan and
Tree Mitigation Plan must be submitted indicating a reduction in
density of the Eastern Red Cedar trees to be compatible with the
type of fencing proposed.
4)
APPROVAL of the inclusion of the entry features at the driveways, as
submitted.
The date scheduled for consideration by the Coppell City Council is Tuesday, December
13, 2005, at 7 p.m. A representative for this case must be p~:esent at this'meeting, which
will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall. Failure to represent this item may result in
the denial of this application. City Council has instructed siaff to include in its agenda
packets only those items that accurately reflect conditions as r4commended by the Planning
and Zoning Commission. Therefore, please submit to the l~lanning Department two (2)
folded copies of all revised plans on or before 12 noon~ ~ednesda¥~ November 30th.
Also, please submit one (1) 8 V2 x 11 paper reduction, along with one jpg, tiff, pdfor similar
electronic file.
