Map of the City of Coppell, Texas, duly passed by the governing body of the City of Coppell, Texas, as h!retofore amended, be and the same is hereby amended to grant a change in zoning from R (Retail) to }t (f[listoric), to expand mad incorporate 3 2 acres of property along the south side of Bethel Road, east of F}-eepon Parkway into the desigmated Historic District and filrther to amend the Land Use Plan of the ]9~6 Com?rehensive Master Plan from 77966 Neighborhood Retail to Historic and more particularly describedlin Exhibits "A" and "B", attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes. SECTION 2. That the property shall be used only in the m*nner and the purpose provided in thc Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of thc City of Coppcll, as heretofol'e amended, and as amended herein. SECTION 3. That all provisions of the Ordinances of the C!ty of Coppell, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repqaled, and all other provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full forceland effect. SECTION 4. That should any sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this ordinance be adjudged or held to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of this ordinance as a whole, or any part or provision thereof oiher than the part so decided to bc m~constitutional, illegal or invalid, and shall not affect the validity of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance as a whole. SECTION 5. An offense committed before the effective d~te of this ordinance is governed b'~ prior law and the provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinaace, as amended, in effect when the ui'fense was committed and the former law is continued in effect for thls purpose. SECTION 6. That any person, firm or corporation violating ~ny of the provisions or terms of this ordinance shall be subject to the same penalty as provided for in the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of thc City of CoppelI, as heretofore amended, and upon conviction shal! be punished by a fine not to exceed thc stun of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) for each offense; and eSch and every day such violation shall continue shall be deemed to constitute a separate offense. 2 77966 SECTION 7.
