Responses - OppositionNov. 8, 1993 It am opposed to Ray Warren's plan to build on the remaining 30 acres which he owns. Instead, I would suggest that the City of Coppell purchase all of his remaining property for the public's use as a park. This park would have the very desirable access tp Denton Creek. To the best of my knowledge, no existing park ha~ access to the creek and fishing it provides. The "Lakes of C0ppell" are artificial and may or ma~ not ever provide qualit~ fishing. Mr. Warren has told me that De~ton Cre~k has the purest water in Dallas County and sand bass fishing in the spring is excellent. Since we purchased our home lot in Februar~ of this year, and moved into our new home on August of this year, the ariea has exploded with new residents~ and is rapidly becoming crowded ~y the morning and evening traffic. This~ new park would fit in wilth the City's Master plan and hopefully prevent any further congestion. In any event, zonging should be changed to elimiinate any possibility of apartments being built on the property.
