NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell will hold a public hearing on Thursday, the I ih day of
August, 2006, at 6:30 p.m., in the CoppeIl Town Center City Council Chambers for consideration of the Petterson
Addition, Lots 1-4, Block A, Replat, being a replat of Lots I and 2, to aIlow the construction of four single-family homes
on 2.27 acres of property located along the north side of Sandy Lake Road, approximately 120 feet west of Summer Place
Drive, at the request of John Margetis, Endeavor Custom Homes. AIl interested citizens of the City of CoppeIl and other
parties of interest are invited to attend this public hearing and participate in the same. Any citizen of the City or other
party of interest may also express his or her opinion concerning this request by letter addressed to the City of Coppell
Planning Department, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, TX 75019.

p.m., in the Coppell Town Center, for consideration of the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation relative
to the Petterson Addition, Lots 1-4, Block A, Replat, being a replat of Lots I and 2, to aIlow the construction of four
single-family homes on 2.27 acres of property located along the north side of Sandy Lake Road, approximately 120 feet
west of Summer Place Drive, at the request of John Margetis, Endeavor Custom Homes. AIl interested citizens of the
City of CoppeIl and other parties of interest are invited to attend this public hearing and participate in the same. Any
citizen of the City or other party of interest may also express his or her opinion concerning this request by letter
addressed to the City of Coppell Planning Department, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, TX 75019.
Persons owning property within 200 feet and within the original subdivision of the proposed replat are required by
State law to receive notification of this hearing. According to the current tax records, you are the owner of property
within 200 feet of the replat.
Regarding this replat, Local Government Code Section 212.015 requires that you be advised of the following
requirement of subsection (c)
(c) If the proposed replat requires a variance and is protested in accordance with this subsection, the
proposed replat must receive. in order to be approved, the affirmative vote of at least three-fourths of
the members present of the municipal planning commission or governing body or both. For a legal
protest, written instruments signed by the owners of at least 20 percent of the area of the lots or land
immediately adjoining the area covered by the proposed replat and extending 200 feet from that area,
but within the original subdivision, must be filed with the municipal planning commission or governing
body, prior to the close of the public hearing.

audio/visual devices, and amanuenses) for participation in or access to the City of CoppeIl sponsored public programs,
services and/or meetings, the City requests that individuals make requests for these services forty-eight (48) hours ahead of
