As we discussed this morning, we would like to propose modifying the landscape island west of the
Freeport 6 building. The 20' wide x 99' long island was originally planned and approved to incorporate
"grasscrete" in order to guard against truck traffic damage. After much discussion, we would now like to
consider a normal sod installation for the majority of the island and a landscape rock for the nose. The 20'
long nose section would consist of 3" compacted sub grade with an 8" deep section of 4"-6" smooth river
rock. Smaller river rock would be used in the lower level to fill voids.
We feel this approach would provide the durability and textural relief desired by all parties. Please let me
know if this is acceptable.
