Memo re ADM. APPRVL of cafeteria & outdoor area

Project: Freeport VIII (Duke)
Greg: Included with this discussion are revised plans for the Duke project along Royal
Lane referred to as the CSC building. They are adding an employee cafeteria for their
tenant, and wish to include an outdoor area covered by a canopy. Since they still abide
by our landscape minimums, the canopy is behind the building and can not be seen from
the public right of way, more than adequate parking remains, I am recommending this
addition be classified as a minor amendment to the plan and grant administrative
approval to the improvement. Duke has been contacted regarding the interior
improvements, specifically the cafeteria, and I understand they are working with Carol to
gain its approval. My administrative approval only pertains to the exterior addition.
Attached are copies of the exhibits Duke submitted to our office for review which should
be added to your permanent file.
