Haverty's
Mark,
The Planning Department has reviewed your submittal for Administrative Approval to allow the paving of
the northern portion of the Haverty's site to accommodate 110 trailer storage stalls.
The Landscape Plan, as red-marked is acceptable, subject to two minor changes on the second page of
the plan. From a recent field survey, it appears that along the east property line, the 3rd Shumard Oak
from the north is missing and the southern most tree is damaged. Please add those trees to your
replacement list.
I have forwarded two of the complete sets of plans to Engineering for their review. Please contact Keith
Marvin, Assistant City Engineer at 972-304-7044 to formally initiate the engineering review and permitting
process.

Mark,
I visited the site and reviewed your request, on a conceptual basis,
with my director. It appears that the proposed trailer storage area
will not be readily visible from any public rights-of-way, therefore,
this request MAY qualify for administrative review and approval..
However, please submit the following:
Application form with fee (see attached) site plan indicating new paving
area, with proposed striping Inventory of the existing landscaping as
compared to the landscaping as required on the most recent approved
landscape plan, with a commitment to install any missing or dead plant
materials.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like
additional information.

Marcie:
It is my understanding that they only want to add pavement to store
trailers. We are striping all the new concrete for trailers.

I need to verify one thing... all you are "storing outside" are
trucks.. this is not outside storage of materials, etc...

Marcie:
Our landscape department asked if the original landscape plan could be
used for the installation of the trees we need for screening. Brandon
and I drove out there after we met and it appears those trees we need
were not installed, or they died. The shrubs look really good and are 3
to 4 feet high.
Thank you
Mark
