This lette is to inform you that Case No. PD-221 R2-HC. Duke Lesley Addition, zoning
change equest from PD-221-HC (Planned Development-221-Highway Commercial) to
PD-221 R2-HC (Planned Development-221 Revision 2-Highway Commercial) to attach a
Detail Site Plan to allow for the construction of an 1 87,535-square-foot, six-story hotel, with
260 rooms and ancillary uses, on five acres of property located along the east side of
Point West Boulevard, approximately 230 feet north of I.H. 635, was recommended for
approval by the Coppell Planning and Zoning Commission (6-0) on Thursday, June 21.
2007, subject to the following conditions:
1) Waiving the required 20% maximum non-masonry construction requirement.
2) Approving the parking plan as submitted.
3) Recommending the landscape plan as shown.
4) Endorsing the building attached signage package as submitted.
The date scheduled for consideration by the Coppell City Council is Tuesday, July 10,
2007, at 7 p.m. A representative for this case must be present at this meeting, which will
be held in Council Chambers at City Hall. Failure to represent this item may result in the
denial of this application.
