Dear Mr. Akula:
This letter is to inform you that the Denton Creek @ Sandy lake Addition, lots 1 & 2,
Block A, Minor Plat, to allow the construction of a single-family home on Lot 1 and a
two-story office building on Lot 2, on 2.36 acres of property located on the north side of
Sandy Lake Road, approximately 600 feet west of Starleaf Road, was approved by the
Coppell City Council (6- 1) on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, subject to the following
condition:
1. Contact Larry Redick (972-323-8917) regarding electric service requirements.
2. Add "Floodway/Floodplain Note" on the bottom of the plat. (SEE ATTACHED)
This minor plat must be submitted for signatures by City Officials within six months after
approval by the City Council, April 14, 2009, or it shall be deemed null and void and
resubmittal shall be required. It is recommended that this minor plat not be prepared for
filing, including obtaining the franchise utility signatures, until after receiving Engineering
comments on the first review of the civil plans. After City signatures have been procured,
it is the applicant's responsibility to file the document with the Dallas County Plat Records
Department. Please see the enclosed checklist for the requirements for filing.
